Police College open day held

April 15, 2021

Police today held an open day at the Hong Kong Police College in support of National Security Education Day.

The event aimed to enhance the public’s understanding of national security and the force’s work in it.

Apart from the first Chinese-style drill performance by police officers, the activities also comprised Police Band performances and anti-terrorism exercises.

There were also exhibition panels on national security education, the display of a specialised crowd management vehicle and a Unimog armoured personnel carrier, as well as an equipment display by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau and the Railway Response Team.

Police hoped members of the public could learn more about national security through the open day activities and would support its work in safeguarding national security.
