951k vaccine doses given

About 951,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 632,300 people receiving their first dose and about 318,700 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 359,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 272,900 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 177,400 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 141,300 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,800 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,100 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 11,800 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 8,300 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 3,500 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 13,000 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 3,400 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at eight CVCs is 97%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine at 21 CVCs is about 95%.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,400 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 12,600 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech one.

 

As of midnight, 10 people were sent to hospital.
