918k vaccine doses administered

About 918,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 615,300 people receiving their first dose and about 303,400 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 355,500 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 259,800 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 165,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 137,800 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,600 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,200 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 9,400 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 5,800 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 3,600 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 14,000 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 13,300 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at eight CVCs is 97%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine at 21 CVCs is about 97%.

 

As of 8pm, about 5,400 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 17,500 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech one.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospital.
