700k vaccine doses administered

About 700,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 529,400 people receiving their first dose and about 170,700 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 339,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 190,000 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 116,200 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 54,500 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,700 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 1,600 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 12,100 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 6,400 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 5,700 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,100 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 14,800 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at eight CVCs is 96%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine at 21 CVCs is about 98%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,800 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 11,600 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech one.

 

As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospital.
