556k vaccine doses administered

About 556,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 478,900 people receiving their first dose and about 77,200 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those receiving the first dose of vaccines, about 327,500 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 151,400 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 76,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine while about 600 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

Around 3,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 3,600 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 200 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 7,600 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 6,800 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 800 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,300 people had reserved their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 15,900 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech vaccine.

 

As of midnight, four people were sent to hospital.
