6 COVID-19 cases identified

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating six additional COVID-19 cases, all of which are imported.

 

The newly confirmed cases bring the number of people infected in Hong Kong to 11,445.

 

The imported cases, comprising three males and three females, are from India, the Philippines, Pakistan and Indonesia.

 

A total of 229 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 153 local ones, of which 33 have unknown sources of infection.

 

Meanwhile, GO24 Fitness, Shop UG01, Worfu at 21-53 Wharf Road in North Point is covered by a compulsory testing notice. Anyone who had been there during the period from March 11 to 26 must undergo testing by March 29.

 

The Government will set up a mobile specimen collection station at Tong Shui Road Garden tomorrow for workers and visitors of GO24 Fitness, while the service period of the stations in some districts will be extended.
