Career award applications open

March 19, 2021

The 2021-22 Award Scheme for Learning Experiences under the Qualifications Framework (QF) is open for applications from today to May 27, the Government announced.

Practitioners from 23 industries implementing the QF are welcome to apply.

The Education Bureau said the scheme aims to encourage practitioners who have excelled in continuous learning to engage in learning activities held locally or worldwide to keep updated on their industries’ latest developments and extend their networks.

Since its launch in 2013-14, the scheme has attracted more than 1,700 applicants from different industries, of whom over 490 have been awarded.

Over 60% of the awardees participated in overseas learning activities and about 30% were engaged in learning activities locally.

Such activities include competitions, seminars, sharing sessions, exhibitions and study tours.

Awardees engaging in local learning activities will receive an award of $10,000 and those engaging in learning activities outside Hong Kong will receive a prize of $30,000.

People are welcome to watch videos in which awardees share their experiences gained from these activities on the QF website.
