March 17, 2021

As of today, more than 1,200 doctors joining the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme have approached the Department of Health to place orders for more than 170,000 doses of vaccine.

The department said the programme has been running smoothly since its launch. It started distributing the Sinovac vaccine to private doctors and clinics participating in the programme under the Vaccination Subsidy Scheme on March 1.

Around 160,000 doses of vaccine have been delivered to doctors' clinics and about 53,000 citizens have received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine from private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

The department has completed over 1,500 doctors’ enrolment applications, involving more than 2,100 clinics.

The list of participating private doctors and clinics that have made vaccine orders has been uploaded here.

People can choose and make an appointment for vaccination directly with a private doctor or clinic under the programme without going through the Government online booking system.
