229k people inoculated

Around 229,300 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19, with about 176,300 receiving their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and about 53,000 their first dose of the BioNTech jab, the Government announced.

 

About 23,200 people received their first vaccine dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today. Among them, around 10,200 received the Sinovac vaccine and about 13,000 the BioNTech one.

 

The overall percentage of people who have received the Sinovac vaccine at eight community vaccination centres is about 75%, while around 93% have received the BioNTech jab at 19 centres.

 

As of midnight, 11 people were sent to hospital for treatment.
