The Customs & Excise Department today said a customs officer has preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19.

The officer is posted to the West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link and mainly performs logistics duties that do not require contact with the public.

She last attended work on March 9. She wore surgical masks and her body temperature was normal when undergoing screening at work.

The work places concerned have been arranged to undergo thorough cleaning and sterilisation.
