Residents comply with testing notices

The Government today conducted enforcement actions at two buildings in Tsuen Wan and Tin Shui Wai which were included in the compulsory testing notices to check whether residents have undergone mandatory testing.

 

More than 240 residents at Block R, Luk Yeung Sun Chuen in Tsuen Wan were checked, and over 400 were checked at Block 9, Lynwood Court in Kingswood Villas, Tin Shui Wai.

 

All of them have complied with the compulsory testing notices and underwent testing within the specified period.

 

The enforcement actions started at around 7am and ended at around 11am.

 

Government staff verified the testing certifications of the two buildings’ residents and conducted random checks in the buildings to verify whether they have undergone compulsory testing.

   

The Government said the aim of issuing the compulsory testing notice is to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

 

It thanked all residents who had complied with the compulsory testing notices for their co-operation in fighting the virus together.

 

The Government added that it will continue to enforce the law strictly.
