The quarantine arrangement at five hotels which started operating as designated quarantine hotels has been smooth so far, the Government said.

Dorsett Tsuen Wan, Dorsett Wanchai, Regal Oriental Hotel, The Kimberley Hotel and The Kowloon Hotel started to operate as designated quarantine hotels from today.

They solely receive travellers from foreign places who need to undergo compulsory quarantine.

The Government arranged dedicated teams to inspect the five hotels and found that the quarantine arrangement has been smooth.

The Designated Quarantine Hotel Scheme will be fully implemented on December 22. By then, all 36 designated hotels must solely be receiving travellers arriving from foreign places who need to undergo quarantine.
