Travel scheme bookings to open

November 17, 2020

The first batch of quotas under the Return2hk travel scheme will open for applications tomorrow.

Under the scheme, Hong Kong residents who fulfil specified conditions will be exempted from the 14-day compulsory quarantine requirement when they return to Hong Kong from Guangdong or Macau.

Residents who wish to return to Hong Kong between November 23 and 29 can apply for the quota using the online booking system from 9am tomorrow until 6pm on November 20.

A daily quota of 3,000 has been set for Shenzhen Bay Port, while the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port quota is 2,000.

Quotas will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each applicant may apply for the quota for a maximum of three accompanying Hong Kong residents.

The online booking system will be open each Wednesday at 9am and run until 6pm on Friday to accept quota applications for the following week.
