Virus tests set for Mui Wo, Tai Wai
The Government will arrange a testing agency to distribute and collect specimen bottles in Mui Wo and Tai Wai for three consecutive days from tomorrow to encourage individuals who perceive themselves as having a higher risk of exposure to undergo COVID-19 testing.
The move was made in view of the recent development of the COVID-19 epidemic and based on risk assessment.
Testing agency Prenetics will go to Mui Wo and Tai Wai to distribute and collect specimen bottles for testing with the mobile vans parked at Mui Wo Recreation Centre and near Exit D of MTR Tai Wai Station.
Members of the public may collect and return the specimen bottles free of charge from 10am to 5pm between November 5 and 7.
Positive cases will be followed up by the Centre for Health Protection.
The Government urged all individuals who were doubtful about their own health condition to undergo the testing for the protection of themselves and others.
