The Labour Department will hold a job fair at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai on October 28 and 29.

Forty-six organisations from the catering, property management and retail sectors will offer more than 2,500 vacancies.

Available positions include shop assistant, clerk, customer service ambassador, aviation security officer, motorcycle delivery driver, barber, technician, vehicle detailing trainee, receptionist, security guard, driver, storekeeper, waiter, chef, cashier and packer.

About 83% of the vacancies are full-time jobs with salaries ranging from $11,000 to $19,000.

Most positions require a Secondary 6 education level or below and 62% of them are open to people without relevant work experience.

The job fair will be held from 11am to 5.30pm.
