The Government rejected all three tenders received for the purchase of a non-industrial site in Tung Chung, the Lands Department announced today.

It said the tendered premiums did not meet the Government’s reserve price for the site.

The site at Tung Chung Town Lot No. 45 at Area 57, Tung Chung, New Territories has a site area of about 12,335 sq m, and a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 70,310 sq m and 117,182 sq m.

The department said the Government’s policy objective to provide a steady and sustained land supply to the market will not be affected by individual tender exercise results or the economic situation at a certain time.
