The Hospital Authority announced that from today, appointments for any of Hong Kong’s general outpatient clinics (GOPCs) can be booked through the Book GOPC function in the authority's one-stop mobile app HA Go.

The public can download the HA Go app, complete the registration and activate their accounts at the designated counters during their next appointment, and then they can use the Book GOPC function in the mobile app.

People can manage their appointments conveniently with Book GOPC while browsing the clinic quota status, booking appointments for themselves or others, and making enquiries and cancellations. The elderly appointment quota is also assigned with consideration of the service needs of seniors.

Launched by the Hospital Authority as a pilot project on June 19, the mobile app has been rolled out to all GOPCs in phases since July 24.

Clinic staff will assist patients in need to activate their accounts while the GOPC Telephone Appointment System continues to provide booking service as usual.
