3 COVID-19 deaths recorded

The Hospital Authority today said that three COVID-19 patients passed away, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who died in public hospitals to 96.

 

A 69-year-old female patient was admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital on July 27 after testing positive for COVID-19. She was then transferred to the Intensive Care Unit on July 30.

 

After treatment, she tested negative for the virus. However, her condition deteriorated and she passed away at 10.04pm yesterday.

 

A male patient also aged 69 was admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on August 24 due to shortness of breath and a cough. His condition deteriorated and he succumbed to the disease at 5.52pm.

 

Additionally, an 82-year-old male patient, who was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 31 due to a cough and fever, passed away at 8.44pm.

 

All of them had chronic disease.
