The Hospital Authority today announced that three COVID-19 patients passed away, taking the number of such patients who died in public hospitals to 66.

An 88-year-old female patient, admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on July 25 due to fever, succumbed at 1.13pm.

A 74-year-old female patient, admitted to United Christian Hospital on July 17 due to persistent cough and breathing difficulty, succumbed at 2.35pm.

An 82-year-old male patient, admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on July 26 due to fever and cough, succumbed at 9.12pm. 

All of them had chronic illnesses.

The hospitals concerned will offer necessary assistance to the deceased patients’ families.
