LCSD steps up patrols

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department (LCSD) today said it stepped up patrols in its venues to urge people to comply with anti-epidemic regulations this weekend.
The department said it called on foreign domestic helpers, in particular, to comply with regulations on the prohibition of group gatherings of more than two people and mask-wearing requirement in public places by distributing leaflets as well as through venue broadcasts and notices.
Joint operations were also conducted with the Labour Department and Police.
It added that over the weekend, LCSD staff conducted about 3,000 inspections and that more than 5,000 verbal reminders given.
