Police today severely condemned netizens for spreading fake news that the Commissioner of Police was infected with COVID-19 and sternly stated that such a rumour is totally groundless and fictitious.

The force emphasised that it severely condemns the ill-intentioned parties who intend to cause chaos by spreading fake news and warned that resolute follow-up action will be taken.
