3 more COVID-19 deaths recorded
The Hospital Authority announced today that three COVID-19 patients passed away, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who died in public hospitals to 38.
The 84-year-old female patient with chronic disease was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 10 due to syncope and a fall. Her condition continued to deteriorate and she passed away this morning.
The 83-year-old male patient, who also had chronic disease, was admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on July 9 due to a fever and he passed away this morning.
A 75-year-old female patient, who came back from the US, was admitted to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital on March 29 due to fever and cough. Her condition deteriorated on April 1 and she was transferred to the intensive care unit. She succumbed tonight.
