The Hospital Authority announced today that a 94-year-old male COVID-19 patient passed away, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who died in public hospitals to 34.

The patient with chronic diseases was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 14 due to COVID-19, cough and runny nose.

His condition continued to deteriorate. He passed away at 12.54pm today.
