United Christian Hospital announced that an 89-year-old male COVID-19 patient passed away today, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who have died in public hospitals to 10.

The patient (case number 1,450) had chronic illness and was admitted to the hospital on July 11 due to pneumonia.

His condition continued to deteriorate while receiving treatment and he eventually succumbed tonight.

Earlier in the day, a 90-year-old female COVID-19 patient (case number 1,350) also passed away.
