Chief Executive Carrie Lam and senior government officials will attend a flag-raising ceremony and reception on July 1 to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The flag-raising ceremony will be held at Golden Bauhinia Square.

Because of the current public health risk, no public viewing area will be set up for the ceremony.

The reception will be held at the Convention & Exhibition Centre after the ceremony.
