The Home Affairs Department today clarified that rumours circulating on the Internet and mobile instant messaging applications claiming that Home Affairs Enquiry Centres and the department will distribute masks to members of the public are unfounded.

It urged citizens to stay vigilant and not hastily believe in rumours.
