The Immigration Department today said it will continue to provide immigration services to all passengers at all control points.

The department made the statement to clarify online rumours that claimed it shall refuse Hong Kong residents not in possession of the closed area permit to enter Hong Kong via land boundary control points due to interruptions to public transport services.

The department said the rumour is totally unfounded.
