14 land transactions in Q2

The Lands Department registered 13 lease modifications and one land exchange in the Land Registry during the quarter ending June, of which five were technical changes involving nil premium.

          

Four transactions were on Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon and seven in the New Territories.

          

Another eight lots were granted by private treaty during the period.

 

Three were granted to the Urban Renewal Authority for residential development in Tai Kok Tsui, a student hostel and staff quarters in Sai Ying Pun, and garden use in Shek O.  

 

The other five were granted to the Housing Authority for Home Ownership Scheme development or public housing.

          

The transactions realised a total land premium of $3.37 billion.
