Finance academy boosts talent
June 26, 2019
Financial Secretary Paul Chan said today the newly established Academy of Finance can play a major role in training financial talent.
Speaking at the academy’s inauguration ceremony, Mr Chan noted that to consolidate and enhance Hong Kong’s status as a global financial centre, the Government believes talent is a core competency.
He added that Hong Kong particularly needs financial talent with an international perspective and insight into future development trends, so he announced the plan for a finance academy to be set up by the Monetary Authority in his 2018-19 Budget.
