May Fourth show to open

Qingnian Zazhi (Youth Magazine or La Jeunesse) founded by Chen Duxiu in 1915 will go on display at the "The Awakening of a Generation: The May Fourth & New Culture Movement" exhibition.
The Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum will stage an exhibition from April 26 to August 25 to mark the centenary of the May Fourth Movement.
The "The Awakening of a Generation: The May Fourth & New Culture Movement" exhibition will feature 81 sets of precious artefacts and historical documents to revisit the movement.
Highlight exhibits include Qingnian Zazhi (Youth Magazine or La Jeunesse) founded by Chen Duxiu in 1915, the Xinchao (The Renaissance) magazine sent by Fu Sinian to his friend, and the first edition of Lu Xun’s first short stories collection, Nahan (Call to Arms).
Artworks on the exhibition theme, created by Baptist University Academy of Visual Arts students and alumni, will also be displayed.
The exhibition is presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and the Beijing Lu Xun Museum (the New Culture Movement Memorial of Beijing).
