KS Wong to visit Tokyo

Secretary for the Environment KS Wong will attend the Tokyo Forum for Clean City & Clear Sky on May 22 and 23.
The forum will bring city leaders together to discuss waste management, sustainable resource management, air quality issues and solutions for creating a sustainable urban environment.
Mr Wong will attend the breakfast meeting for the East, Southeast Asia & Oceania Region of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group and will speak at a plenary session.
During his trip, Mr Wong will visit a new energy vehicle company, solar farms and recycling facilities. He will also meet officials to learn more about their management of sustainable development.
He will depart for Tokyo tomorrow and return to Hong Kong on May 23.
