Equestrian event gets 'M' mark

February 1, 2018

The 2018 Longines Masters of Hong Kong has been awarded ‘M’ Mark status by the Major Sports Events Committee.

The world’s top showjumping riders and horses will compete in the event from February 9 to 11.

Committee Chairman Karl Kwok said the event will add colour and vibrancy to the city and attract more visitors.

"'M' Mark events showcase Hong Kong's capability to host world-class events and reinforce its position as the events capital of Asia."

The system began in 2004 to foster a sustainable sports culture and to develop major sporting events.
