The Hong Kong Guide 2018 edition went on sale today and its electronic version, e-HongKongGuide, can be downloaded for free from the Lands Department website.

The guide contains indexes of streets, places and villages, estates and buildings, schools, public services, leisure and cultural facilities, as well as information on public transportation in both English and Chinese.

The electronic version can be read with PDF readers as well as different applications on computers and mobile devices in offline mode.

Users can use free online tools to read and search co-ordinates, track positions using a GPS device, search text and information, and add personalised images and information and share them with friends.

All sales outlets of the Survey & Mapping Office, six post offices, and designated bookstores will carry the guide priced at $80.
