SJ meets Indonesian officials

Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen met with Indonesian Attorney General HM Prasetyo and Minister of Law & Human Rights Yasonna Laoly in Jakarta today.
 
Mr Yuen briefed Mr Prasetyo on the successful implementation of "one country, two systems" in Hong Kong, highlighting that the rule of law and judicial independence are fully guaranteed by the Basic Law.
 
Both sides agreed to further enhance legal exchanges and co-operation, particularly on matters relating to mutual legal assistance.
 
In the meeting with Mr Laoly, Mr Yuen and a delegation of Hong Kong legal and arbitration professionals introduced Hong Kong's legal and dispute resolution services to the minister.
 
Mr Yuen and Mr Laoly agreed to foster closer ties between the legal and arbitration sectors of the two places and build further dialogue.
