CE meets Indonesian president

Chief Executive CY Leung met Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Jakarta today.
 
Mr Leung thanked the Indonesian government for allowing the establishment of a Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in the Indonesian capital.
 
He noted the Jakarta ETO will be the 12th ETO Hong Kong has set up in a foreign country, and the first to be set up since the Berlin office in 2009.
 
Both sides also agreed to boost co-operation in areas such as trade and commerce, investment, professional services and tourism to enhance bilateral ties.
 
The Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi and Co-ordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution also took part in the meeting.
