Gov't meets Manila councillor

Security Bureau officers met with Manila City Councillor Bernardito Ang today to discuss the Manila hostage tragedy.
 
Mr Ang briefed them on the resolution passed by the Manila City Council, and his views on the incident's resolution.
 
The bureau has liaised with the survivors and the deceased's families, and noted their views concerning the meeting. It also relayed to them Mr Ang's request to met with them.
 
It said it will report to the public when substantive progress is made in the discussions.
