The 1823 Hotline has received more than 270 complaints related to traffic and public transport services affected by the illegal occupation of roads.

The Transport Department said today the complaints involve public transport service adjustments, insufficient services, lost trips and unstable frequencies, relocation of bus stops and requests for additional bus stops, and road closures.

The department said it and Police have been monitoring the situation and have implemented temporary traffic control measures to alleviate congestion.

More than 220 bus routes are still affected, with eight suspended and 213 diverted.

Twenty green minibus routes remain diverted or suspended.
