The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring an additional Middle East Respiratory Syndrome case reported in Korea.
Korean health authorities said the patient is a nurse working at Samsung Medical Centre.
To date, Korea has confirmed 182 MERS cases, and another was exported from Korea to Mainland China.
Meanwhile, the centre was notified of one suspected local MERS case from noon yesterday to noon today that tested negative for the MERS virus in preliminary testing.
Four other suspected MERS cases pending test results yesterday have also tested negative for the virus.
No MERS cases have been confirmed in Hong Kong.
The centre reminds people to avoid unnecessary visits to healthcare facilities when visiting Korea.
