The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring three additional Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases reported by Korea.
According to Korea’s health authority, the trio includes two in-patients hospitalised in the same hospital ward to which the first MERS case was admitted, and another whose family member was also hospitalised in that ward.
To date, Korea has reported 17 MERS cases, and another case was exported from Korea to Mainland China.
