ATMs largely resume normal service

(October 07, 2014)

The Monetary Authority said suspended ATMs in areas affected by protests have largely resumed normal operation.

According to the reports from banks as at 8am today, six branches of six banks remained temporarily closed. The authority has asked banks to resume other services as soon as circumstances permit.

Customers should pay attention to banks' announcements regarding affected branches and ATMs. The authority will also publish on its website relevant updates from time to time.
