Deputy Secretary for Food & Health (Health) Janice Tse will be Director of Home Affairs from April 11, succeeding Pamela Tan who will retire after 38 years of service.

Secretary for the Civil Service Clement Cheung said Ms Tse will serve the community with professionalism and rise to the challenges ahead.

He commended Mrs Tan for her loyal and dedicated service, which has significantly contributed to the development of Hong Kong.
