Clement Cheung ends Singapore visit

Smart planning:  Secretary for the Civil Service Clement Cheung (first left) tours Punggol Eco-town, the first eco-friendly public housing precinct in Singapore.

Secretary for the Civil Service Clement Cheung concluded his visit to Singapore today by calling on the Ministry of Civil Service and visiting a public policy school.

 

Mr Cheung met Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Civil Service Minister Teo Chee Hean to discuss civil servant management and training.

 

He then visited the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and spoke with its Dean, Prof Kishore Mahbubani who outlined the different management and training programmes they offer.

 

Mr Cheung also toured Punggol Eco-town, the first eco-friendly public housing precinct in Singapore, to find out about sustainable urban planning.

 

He also met with Hong Kong people living and working in Singapore and updated them on Hong Kong's latest developments.
