Model-car circuits open in Kowloon

Two racing circuits for radio-controlled model cars have opened at Jordan Valley Park.

Wheel to wheel: Circuit A is designed for larger battery-operated radio-controlled model cars.
International standard: It is a 190-metre world-class track comprising a 40-metre straight, a hairpin bend and a pit lane.
Good design: The circuit also provides a covered stand for spectators and drivers.
Support area: Next to the circuit there is a covered maintenance area and electric chargers.
Fun place: Circuit B, at 41 metres, is designed for smaller battery-operated models.
Winning applause: The tracks were tested with different types of radio-controlled vehicles, getting the thumbs-up from enthusiasts.
Green facilities: Located at 71 New Clear Water Bay Road, the park is adjacent to the Shun Lee Disciplined Services Quarters.
Community garden: The park, which is the largest in Kwun Tong District, covers a total area of about 6.3 hectares.
Horticultural wonderland: Other park features include 10,000 square metres of lawns and gardens...
