Secretary for Development Paul Chan will lead a delegation to Beijing tomorrow to call on ministries with policy areas relating to the work of the Development Bureau.
The delegation will also exchange views with its Mainland counterparts on the Belt & Road initiative, expansion of the market for professional services, and conservation of built heritage.
The delegation will call on the Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce.
They will visit the National Development & Reform Commission, the Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development, and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.
Delegation members include Permanent Secretary for Development (Planning & Lands) Michael Wong, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) Hon Chi-keung, Under Secretary for Development Eric Ma, and representatives from the Institution of Engineers, the Institute of Architects, the Institute of Surveyors, the Institute of Planners and the Institute of Landscape Architects.
Mr Chan will also accompany the Chief Executive to call on officials from central ministries on March 3. He will return to Hong Kong that night.
