The Centre for Health Protection urges people who have visited three Korean hospitals between certain periods to call the centre's 2125 1111 hotline.
People who attended Samsung Medical Centre between May 27 and 31, Konyang University Hospital between May 28 and 30, and Dae-Chung Hospital between May 22 and 30, are advised to call the hotline to seek further assessment.
Travellers should avoid healthcare facilities when in Korea for the time being.
The centre will maintain close communication with the World Health Organisation and Korean health authorities.
