Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung today visited a public rental housing site in Tseung Kwan O, and Wo Che Estate in Sha Tin.
 
Prof Cheung noted the Tseung Kwan O project will provide 2,059 flats in 2014, and it includes an adjacent half-hectare Public Open Space site.
 
The recreation site will provide fitness equipment, sitting-out areas, a tai chi exercise area, and a cycling track. A reclaimed rainwater system is being constructed to recycle rainwater for plant irrigation.
 
He was also briefed on the planning of the Home Ownership Scheme development at Tseung Kwan O Area 65C2, which will provide 1,100 flats in 2018.
 
Prof Cheung then met Estate Management Advisory Committee members at Wo Che Estate, and visited a social service centre there.
