Talks continue on free TV Games broadcasts

Secretary for Commerce &  Economic Development Gregory So is encouraged that three local TV stations have stepped up communication and says he is hopeful they will soon reach a satisfactory resolution  that will allow Olympic Games coverage to be broadcast on a free TV platform.
 
Speaking to the media after attending a meeting of the Legislative Council Panel on Information Technology & Broadcasting today, Mr So said negotiations are ongoing, and the Government must not interfere with commercial negotiations.
 
He said as soon as there was a way forward, a speedy announcement would be made to the public.
