Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing today met visiting UK Minister of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs Jeremy Browne.
 
They discussed preparatory work for the London Olympics and Hong Kong athletes' participation in it.
 
Mr Tsang said Hong Kong looks forward to participating in the games, sending 42 athletes to compete in 13 sports.
 
"Hong Kong has always enjoyed taking part in major sports events, especially the Olympic Games. In terms of participating athletes and sports events, this will set a record. This is the largest delegation we have lined up for the Olympic Games since reunification."
 
Mr Tsang said he hopes the UK will host a successful Olympics and British athletes achieve an outstanding medal tally.
