National People's Congress Standing Committee Chairman Zhang Dejiang, accompanied by Chief Executive CY Leung, visited On Tat Estate, a newly built public rental housing estate in Kwun Tong this morning.

Permanent Secretary for Transport & Housing Stanley Ying briefed Mr Zhang on the HKSAR Government's housing policy and the Anderson Road Public Housing Development with exhibition panels, a model and a video.

Mr Zhang then visited two third floor units in Oi Tat House to learn more about their design.

On Tat Estate has 11 domestic blocks, providing 9,400 units for 23,400 residents.

Housing tops the current-term Government's agenda. The estimated public housing production for 2015-16 to 2019-20 is about 97,100 units, which is more than the figures for each of the past three five-year periods.

The Government will continue to adopt a multi-pronged approach in increasing housing land supply to achieve the long-term supply target.
