Clement Cheung meets Singapore officials

Secretary for the Civil Service Clement Cheung today continued his Singapore visit by meeting the country’s Head of Civil Service Peter Ong.
 
They discussed civil service management, training and development.
 
Mr Cheung then attended a lunch hosted by Singapore Public Service Commission Chairman Eddie Teo to discuss how to select the most deserving talent and safeguard the impartiality and integrity of appointments and promotions.
 
He then met the Public Service Division Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Yong Ying-I to learn more about the work of the division and exchange views on civil service reform, leadership training and development, retirement and staff deployment.
 
He also visited the Civil Service College.
